AlterEgo is a branch of the animation studio, Pendulum. This one division of the company specializes in facial animation. Their services can be used to create facial performances that are just shy of real life. A few of AlterEgo’s clients include Stuntman: Ignition and Silent Hill V. The video below demonstrates the various emotions that they are able to capture. The only game with facial animation on par with this can only be Night Trap for the Sega CD. Not really, but Heavenly Sword pretty amazing. I can’t wait to see this in action!
